So… we have a list of games that we’re playing now… but with new titles coming up, what’s current on your hype meter?

For me it’s currently:

Dragon Age: Origins - BioWare returns to it’s fantasy roots and makes a new Baldur’s Gateish game without restrictions from Wizards of the Coast hampering them. October just can’t come soon enough.

Mass Effect 2 - Loved the first one, chances are I’ll lover the second one even more. I have faith in BioWare. Just need to wait until next year.

God of War Collection - God of War 1 and 2 remade in HD for the PS3. Need I say more?

God of War 3 - Speaks for itself.

Halo 3: ODST - Looks like they have a pretty darn nice singleplayer game lined up here, plus the new cooperative multiplayer mode will hopefully gather some borkers together. Anything with Capt. Malcom Reynolds (ok, Nathan Fillion, same shit) in it must be good.

Sacred 2: Ice and Blood - Given that the expansion makes it to consoles, we’ll definitely pick it up. Sacred 2 is like the overlooked Action RPG hit that nobody plays.

StarCraft 2: (Über-Cliché) Wings of Liberty - While not getting to play a singleplayer Zerg and Protoss campaign yet sucks, it will be more than nothing.

Diablo 3 - Once it’s out in… say october 2347… it will probably be great… but it’s a long time to drool over it. 

The list could be a lot longer, but I’ll keep it to this for now. More will come later of course

I’ll be picking up one of those newfangled slimline PS3s this month so I’ll have MGS4 in my grasp at long last. I’ll also have some catching up to do with the thing – I’m thinking Unchartered, Motorstorm, LBP, Killzone 2, yada yada. Still exited about the next Gran Turismo, it looks sexier every time new media hits.

The trailer for the second GTA4 DLC dropped recently, and skydiving (including basejumping) is back. I spent hours and hours jumping off shit in San Andreas, so I’m looking forward to that too.

And then there’s Modern Warfare 2, which will hopefully play on my iMac like the previous one did so diligently. Hoping for a single player demo to determine that.

I, uh, still don’t have any consoles, so I still won’t be playing any console games anytime soon. I think I might pick up Richard Burns Rally for PC at some point. Also looking forward to Modern Warfare 2 for PC, like Ebbe, even though I haven’t yet played the first Modern Warfare.

And pretty much wishing (read: maybe I should buy a console) Gran Turismo 5 would come out for PC

I’m still stuck on Fallout 3 (so good that I bought it!) and a ROM of Ocarina of Time which works sexcellently with my 360 controller. Don’t worry, I actually own the N64 cartridge.
